Thank you, Betsy, for your honesty and sincerity. It is hard to share the realities of our teaching lives with others sometimes. It's ironic that being recognized for our work can be a mixed blessing within our own school settings. I glad it has been a growing experience for you, and wish you well in your next steps. Let the light shine.

Wow!Tears in my eyes as I read this. Thank you for sharing your reflections in such a thought-provoking way!

Betsy, you are truly an inspiration and a courageous educator. I eagerly anticipate your blog posts from the next facet of your journey in eduction

Words could never express the impact you have had on me as a teacher and as a person. I am beyond grateful for your encouragement, leadership, and support the past three years. You've heard me say it before, but I would not be the teacher I am if it was not for you. Thank you!

Betsy, you totally rock. It takes as much courage to find what is right in schools today as it does to point out what needs changing. People who write about education usually choose one or the other...

And part of staying fresh and engaged (what my deceased father would have said is "make yourself useful!") is moving on when it's time to move on. I look forward to hearing about what's next in your life and in your words.

Your Fan, Nancy
