When the ASCD Inservice blog highlights your teacher blog, chances are you're churning out some good content on a regular basis. History teacher Nate Kogan enjoyed this attention back in December when his site The History Channel This Is Not caught the eye of an ASCD editor who was intrigued by his use of Wikipedia in his U.S. history classes. Sound like a bad practice? Well, there's a plot twist (he has his students review Wikipedia entries for accuracy). There's also much to intrigue the 21st century-savvy history teacher at Kogan's site. He's a geek. He also voluntarily teaches ninth graders.
